Artist Research: Lori Nix and Kathleen Gerber

Lori Nix and Kathleen Gerber or artists with a  wide variety of artworks ranging from fine arts and dioramas and other 3D Projects.  The piece I am analyzing Is titled Planet World Museum Which was based on a book titled 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I have chosen to look at this diorama as it closely resembles my work of a diorama under the water of a fish tank and the Castle. We can see that this is a very closely detailed piece,  ranging from the octopus down to the last bit of the sea plant.  there are lots of plants that are seen in this piece including algae and other sea grass, this helps me as a visual reference for my own underwater plants. 

There are also underwater fishermen designed in a straightforward manner which includes an oxygen tank and underwater helmet. This piece was then also Framed to look pleasing when presented,  this is also something that I will take into consideration when presenting my piece as it is important for the piece to look beautiful.
