 History of Japanese castles:

Japanese castles were sturdy and built with care, they were used as a defense mechanism over strategic control. primarily made of wood, their design was clean and classic. This design was initially forged in the 14th century. The following pictures I have used as a visual reference when creating my Japanese castles. While also keeping in mind the wooden material for the castle.
