Process of making first mask.

 Purple Flame:

For this mask, I started out with an A4 paper and started working my way towards building a kitsune-style mask. I used a DPI of 300 at a high resolution of 2408x3508. I used clipping masks to add shading and highlights. I used different layers to add blur and a more interesting background. 

Progress

I messed with hue and saturation to define the color and increase the brightness. 

I used the liquify feature to adjust the positioning of some parts of the mask.

I adjusted the opacity of certain layers to lighten the effect they had on the audience's eye.
